Hi! I'm Robin!

Transitions Coach, Healthcare Advocate, Teacher, Speaker, & Chief Motivator

And...I know what it feels like to struggle with the grief and ambiguous loss of those you treasure.

I was there just a few years ago....

I co-founded You & Me Aging in 2020 alongside longtime friend and eldercare colleague Lee Mohler.

We had worked together for many years in senior living and dementia care education, sharing a deep commitment to supporting families through the emotional, relational, and practical challenges of caregiving.

In 2025, our work evolved into two distinct paths. Lee now leads her own company, and I continue to work with You & Me Aging, maintaining a focused vision on coaching caregivers through complex family transitions.  I remain deeply grateful for the years we collaborated and the foundation it created for the work I carry forward today.  To learn more about Lee's work, visit yourdementiaconsultant.com.

My Story...

My work began long before I ever called it coaching. It started in my own family when my grandmother was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. We experienced frustration, confusion, grief, and the quiet shifts that happened as roles began to change, and nothing felt comfortable or clear anymore. Supporting my parents through that season shaped the way I understand caregiving—not as a problem to solve, but as a deeply human experience that asks for presence, adaptability, and heartfelt connection.

I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and over the past 20 years, my work has taken many forms, all centered around supporting families through complex behavioral health and caregiving challenges. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with leaders in dementia care, co-found community-based support initiatives, and help develop innovative models of care for individuals and families navigating cognitive change. Through it all, I’ve seen that caregivers don’t just need information—they need support in how to live inside these difficult experiences of change. My work today is about helping families find steadiness in the midst of uncertainty, reconnect to what matters most, and care for the ones they love without losing themselves in the process.

What began as a desire to simply “get through it” ...

became a deeper understanding of what actually helps people feel steady again. I saw that when we shift the focus from controlling and managing to strengthening the connection—to ourselves and with the person we love—everything simplifies. Decisions become clearer, communication softens, and caregiving begins to feel more sustainable.

Who would have thought...

That slowing down and focusing on relationship—not just responsibility—could bring a sense of calm and control back into such a difficult season. This work isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about learning how to navigate what’s in front of you with greater clarity, support, and skill.

I bring over 20 years of experience guiding families through complex health and care transitions.

My work integrates communication, behavioral health, and neuroscience, paired with the real-world experience of helping you move through the emotional complexity of diagnosis, caregiving conflict, and change.

What makes my approach different is that I don’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions. I will help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface so you can respond with greater clarity, strengthen instead of weaken your relationship, and build systems that truly improve quality of life for everyone.

This is about more than getting through caregiving—it’s about navigating it in a way that feels steady, supported, and sustainable.
